Description
Skillet Roasted Maple Cinnamon Pecans: this 5 minute maple pecans recipe is quick & easy! The ultimate maple roasted pecans with cinnamon & coconut sugar. Paleo, Dairy-Free, Vegan, Gluten-Free, Refined Sugar-Free.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons coconut sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
- 2 teaspoons coconut oil
- 2 cups unsalted, raw pecans
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or greased foil. Set aside.
- In a small bowl, whisk together coconut sugar, cinnamon and maple.
- In a large, nonstick skillet over medium-low heat, add coconut oil and the coconut sugar mixture. Stir until melted and smooth.
- Add pecans and increase heat to medium. Stir until pecans are thoroughly coated. Switch to stirring occasionally, allowing pecans to soak in the sugar mixture. Watch the pecans closely. Stir until the sugar mixture is almost completely soaked up and the pecans are sticky like taffy. This will take 3-5 minutes.
- Pour pecans onto the prepared baking sheet, creating an even, spread out layer. Set baking sheet on a cooling rack. Allow to cool for 1 hour. Break apart into desired size. Enjoy!

These are the best! I’ve been making these for a couple of years now. Just never got around to giving you the five stars you deserve. My husband can eat a whole batch in a couple of hours. Every time I serve them or give them as a gift, I give the recipe out as well. Everyone loves them! I especially like being able to make them in a skillet instead of baking. I will have to try your recipe for baking them sometime, though. 🙂
Aww thank you, Connie! 😊 I’m truly so happy to hear you’ve been enjoying the recipe so much. Your kind words are truly making my day right now. And how sweet of you to give them out as gifts! Here’s to many more years of cinnamon maple deliciousness!❤️
These look delicious, I know you mentioned they can last in an airtight container for up to a month, do you think they could last longer if so how long? I am playing around with making roasted nuts with natural ingredients and want to know long they can be kept in an airtight container safely without spoiling?
Hi Jamie, I’ve kept mine for up to two months in some cases. Just make sure to keep them out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources to make them last as long as possible. Enjoy!
Cooked exactly as recipe instructs. These are delicious!

Hi,
This looks really good and I was wondering what I can use in place of coconut oil. I’m allergic to coconuts. I really want to try this. Please let me know something. Also how many carbs do they have. I’m on a low carb lifestyle.
Hi Debi! You might try your favorite cooking oil. Keep in mind that your choice of oil will affect the flavor and texture of the nuts. Enjoy!
